GCF at Duke is a local chapter of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship of the U.S.A. We are a sister organization to the undergraduate chapter of InterVarsity at Duke, and, rivalries aside, to the graduate IVCF chapter, FOCUS, at UNC Chapel Hill.
GCF is a family of faith for graduate and professional students and post-docs that provides a forum for discussion of practical theology and ethics. We strive to integrate our belief in the gospel of Jesus Christ with our learning on the academic campus and seek to support one another in putting our principles to work. Equally important, we seek to welcome new believers into the community of faith and to be humble and valuable friends to skeptics. Please come and give us a chance to serve you as Christ taught us to do, with good humor and sharpened minds.
