Welcome To GCF

We are a community of graduate students and postdocs at Duke University exploring and practicing our Christian faith.  Everyone is welcome!

Graduate Christian Fellowship

Welcome to GCF’s home page.

Our hope is to be a community of support and encouragement for those who are seeking to bring together faith in Christ and a calling to the academy.  Come walk out this journey with us!  And if you are not a Christian, we welcome you to “check things out” in a safe and understanding circle of friends.

Here is a snapshot of what we do:

Friday Night Fellowship Meetings

We meet on Friday nights for dinner followed by some great worship time and a speaker.  These fellowship meetings usually take place in the Duke Episcopal Center, unless otherwise notified.  The dinners are typically home-cooked and provided by volunteers in the Episcopal Center kitchen.  If you can donate $5 to help pay for supplies, great; but come eat regardless and bring your friends and family — kids are welcome!

For more details on our Friday night fellowship meetings and other activities, check out the events page.

Spring 2016 Friday Night Fellowship Schedule

The schedule for this semester is here!  Meet in the Episcopal Center at 6:30 pm for dinner, with worship to follow.  Keep tabs on the Facebook Page for updates on social events and community service opportunities throughout the semester.
