Superbowl Party/Potluck – Sunday, Feb. 5, 6:00PM

Superbowl watching, or at least commercial watching during the Superbowl, is a longstanding tradition in our country.  It always, and must, involve consumption of lots of food, particularly food that is not good for you, though some vegetables are allowed.  Things that can be eaten with fingers are encouraged but forks will be available if needed.

This year the Superbowl is coming up THIS SUNDAY.  Kickoff is around 6:30 PM.  The New England Patriots are playing the New York Giants, pitting two great teams and two great quarterbacks against one another.  Christi and I are hereby inviting any and all GCF students, their friends and/or enemies (remember – love your enemies), and whoever else you care to invite to our house for a pot-luck Superbowl watching party this Sunday.  RSVP to shinkle@duke.edu requested.  You need not be a football fan but you have to enjoy eating and feeding others.  Those who get bored can sit in the living room or go out by the fire (weather permitting).
